Every day kids do things in big and small ways to help animals.  Kids have lots of things to keep them busy.   Their days are very full with school, homework, family, friends, etc.  So, when kids stop to help an animal in need, or think of ways to make life better for an animal, or write letters to protest cruelty…this makes them heroes.  They have gone the extra mile for another being and there are many grown-ups who don’t even do that.  We honor them in this section and hope they are an inspiration to everyone.
